Under the motto "Nature is function" brainshirt presents its new outdoor models "brainshirt active". Special feature :for the first time we use a mixed fabric of organic cotton and kapok. Kapok, the fibre from the African wool tree, has some special features, which combined with cotton forms a functional fabric. Kapok fibre is a hollow fibre. In addition to its specifically lighter weight, Kapok fibre is a capillary fibre, which means that its hydrophobic character transports moisture away from the skin more quickly than a classic cotton fabric. It is able to absorb a lot of moisture, but the moisture is bound together due to the cotton structure. Due to these two properties, the removal of liquids and the particularly low weight, the use of these fibres is particularly suitable for textiles that are worn during physical activity. Brainshirt therefore uses this fabric in particular for trekking, Nordic walking and outdoor shirts. But also in the pure leisure sector, where function is less important, the new fabric inspires with its high wearing comfort and skin-friendly feeling. But not only the material of the new brainshirt models is convincing. The numerous functions that brainshirt has integrated into the shirts are also particularly and clearly oriented towards the needs of active people and people who are mobile in nature. Numerous bags and loops offer customers the possibility of accommodating small accessories
