The seventh largest Norwegian island is Hitra. Like Froya at the exit of the Trondheimsfjord, Hitra is also an absolute paradise for sailors and nature lovers. The commune itself comprises more than 2400 mostly uninhabited islands, archipelagos and cliffs in addition to the main island
which is 600 square kilometres in size. The nature reserve of about 40 square kilometres, which was established in 1982 and is characterized by its swamp and heathland areas makes the fishing island so popular. It is an ideal retreat for one of the largest herds of red deer in Northern Europe.
The brainshirt casual model is based on the colours of white and blue which predominate the panorama of Hitra. The high-quality, strong check of the fabric is woven in Austria. Of course, the cotton used is GOTS certified, and thanks to the short and transparent production chain and the use of regenerative energies, we have also succeeded in reducing the carbon footprint of this model significantly.
