The name Hardanger stands for two impressive Norwegian natural phenomena: the picturesque and almost endless Hardanger Fjord and the Hardanger Vidda highland which has now become one of Norway's numerous national parks. During the last ice age, glaciers transformed a once mountainous area into a comparatively flat plateau. It is the largest of its kind in Europe and with its unique flora and faunait is equally popular for hikers in summer as for cross-country skiers in winter.
The colours of the four new shirts from the casual collection are inspired by this fascinating landscape: the grey Hardanger Stone from the boulders left behind on the edge of the glaciers, the intense Hardanger Red, reminiscent of the flowering of the summer months, the golden yellow Hardanger Autumn, which reflects the colour of the highlands in autumn, and the pigeon blue Hardanger Lake, which is inspired by the countless lakes of the highlands. Have fun with our new Hardanger models! These designs can be perfectly combined with a pair of the Manchester jeans or the models from the Moleskin, Liverpool series.
